I am heading to Vegas in October. I have heard of a VP machine that if
you hit a 4OAK you get a bonus spin similar to "Wheel of Fortune" type
overhead spin. Any help would be appreciated or am I just crazy?
Thanks,
Mike

It is called Wheel Poker and has been talked up quite a bit on this site.
Bob Dancer shared that the average payoff is 428 coins for the extra sixth coin
bet. This is good for Jacks type games where a quad pops about every 423
hands, but is bad for wildcard games where natural quads come with less frequency.

But Wheel Poker comes in 3/5 play, so bring a big wad of the green.

I had incredible luck on this game at the Palms a few weeks back,
hitting quad 9's with a 1000 coin bonus spin within the first 5 spins,
and cashing out +300, then the next day hitting again with quad 10's I
believe, but only a 400 coin bonus within the first few spins. If you
don't hit those quads early I can certainly see how it would chew
through your bankroll pretty quick on a 3 or 5 play machine. I hit one
at 3 play and the other on 5 play. At least it was available at 8/5
BP there at the Palms. I didn't pay any attention at any other casinos
I visited to see if they had it as well.
