Bonus Poker Deluxe w/ Seq Royal

I believe the sequential pays $12,500 = 50,000 coins on a quarter machine.

play or should I have tossed the 10c anyway?

Assuming that your second "left" was a "right,"
that the paytable was
  5-5-15-20-30-40-250-400-4000-12500,
that the sequential paid both ways,
and that there were no penalty cards,
you made the right play.
If the sequential royal was worth only 10,000, holding the ace only
would have been the right play.

I'm shooting this off the top of my head so hopefully I get it
right. When you make a royal with this hold it can come in six
different orders, 3X2X1: KQJ, KJQ, QKJ, QJK, JKQ, and the one you
prefer JQK.

Five of these pay 4000 coins and one pays 12,500 coins for an average
value of 5416.6666 coins.

If you don't have a program that deals with sequentials you can
simply change the payscale then analyze the hand to see where it fits
in on the strategy chart.

If that's the case then it would be 5X4,000 plus 1X50,000 divided by
six equals 11,666.666. RF2s in position would take a huge jump in EV.
It would be something like a 50% addon. Albeit, with a very high
variance.

Sam's Town has sequential royal machines that pay out $15000. Ihit a
sequential royal at ST on Feb 17th, but it was in their Stage Coach
bar where they have progressive royals. Hit for 1174.
