Question: On the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City data base of games it
identifies the game Bonus Poker Aces and Faces (3 coin). I looked for
this game in September and could not find it. Does anyone know what 3-
coin means on a video poker machine? Thank you.

3 coin machines mean that the maximum bet is 3 coins instead of the
usual 5 coins, but you still get the proportional "full pay" royal at
3 coins, which would typically be 2400 coins. You see this more on
very high denomination games, like $25 and $100 VP games. I have seen
$5 denomination three coin machines, but I don't recall ever seeing $1
three coin machines.

I don't know anything about the AC Taj.....but there is a $1 3 coin
progressive at a small bar at Harvey's in Lake Tahoe...I've seen the
Royal over $7000
They used to have this game at the Taj, but I believe it's gone now,
the machine was removed when they redid the gaming floor earlier this
year.
