Nick, casinos are very confusing, with much of the confusion seemingly done on purpose. Shortly after the barrings, Greektown did disallow slot club points on the deuces progressive as well as 9/6 and 8/5 jacks or better, so your question is understandable. Never underestimate a casino's ability to screw things up.
