Someone relayed this to me, I wasn't there. A conversation was going
on at a casino bar in Tunica this weekend between the bartender and a
couple of vp players. At some point in the conversation, (I'm told)
the bartender makes the statement that Bob Dancer is the "Tiger
Woods " of vp.
I thought Bob might like to hear about this. Quite a compliment in my
opinion !

Thank you. But if that means I'd have to trade Shirley in for a Swedish
supermodel, I'll pass.
Truthfully, there are many other successful high limit players. To use a
baseball analogy, I am legitimately a major-league player, but not at
all an all star every year --- although I certainly did have a few all
star years --- thank you MGM Grand! What makes me noticeable is that I'm
the only successful high-limit player who regularly writes about what he
does. All of the other successful high limit players prefer to keep
lower profiles. And all of the other video poker writers have had much
more modest success than I have had.
In Tiger Woods case, all he does is regularly competes with the best in
the world --- and he manages to come out on top a lot of the time.
That's a far more impressive achievement than anything I've been able to
accomplish. Tiger and I may both be big fish in our respective ponds ---
but his pond is A LOT bigger than mine!

I guessed wrong on my previous post when I reported these machines. $2 (3-play) 9/6 JOB is shorted (just like $1 3-play) on the (3) machines just outside of hi-limit. Both 5- and 10-play are full pay at the $1 and $2 denominations. The $5 3/5/10 plays are all full-pay on these 3 machines.
