If I were married my marriage would take precedence over gambling. I know of one person whose marriage ended because of his gambling (he was not a losing gambler). His wife didn't want him gambling and he promised her he would not. He gambled hoping that she would not find out (that was his real gamble). She did find out however and that was it for his marriage. Can't blame her, he is a lying, cheating, gambler. BTW there are 3 days of the year I never gamble on - 1)SuperBowl Sunday. 2)my birthday. 3)Christmas.

Most gamblers must have the same thoughts as you because those are pretty much the three best days of the year to gamble in terms of casino promotions! You're missing most of the action by boycotting those days! Fine if you just want to be a convenience gambler, but convenience gambling is much more expensive. It's the equivalent of only buying airlines tickets on the day of travel or walking up to a hotel check in desk and asking them what the rate is for a room that night.

I know about the Super Bowl and Christmas. But when is that guy's birthday?

I don't want to miss out on the third best day to gamble!

Some casinos do have birthday promotions, but most of them are good for longer than your birthday.
