Well Bob, I’ve seen you make mistakes before, but this one is your biggest. It all comes down to priorities, and the way you arrange yours
is not the way to have a lengthy relationship with a spouse. I’ve been married to the same woman for over 40 years, so I have some knowledge in this area. If you are half as successful in your profession as you would appear to be, losing one day of double points shouldn’t seriously impact your bottom line. Pissing off your wife could cause significantly greater damage.

When you marry a gambler, it includes the gambler's exemption:

As could being henpecked, pussy-whipped, and/or a doormat. I have the
same issue of conditionality that Bob does. Often, long before I'm
ready to give the kind of definite answer that is so often
antithetical to a life that's based so much on random events, my wife
wants one. Too bad.
Amazes me how everybody thinks they know what makes a relationship works , and heaven forbid if somebody does it different . Funny,
I ride a motorcycle, and always will. My lady loves it, previous one was telling me i need to slow down or quit, don't remember exactly which as i hit the door running while she was still talking . No regrets .
