I really liked this article as it covers a task with which most players of the VP trainer generation are unfamiliar.

I had to do exactly this calculation, and honestly it never occurred to me to use a trainer for anything but the base draw frequencies. I think it's easier to do by hand, or in a spread sheet (for me). But however you do it, this is the type of thing you will have to do on occasion in today's VP environment. Don't skip this article, even if you have no intention of taking advantage of the play it defines.

The methodology is really useful.

Does anyone know who recently hit the $1 triple play progressive at the Venetian? Last time I saw it it was over $140,000.00 - - saw it the other day and it had been hit, was down to $12,130.00.
Just wondering if it was a lucky anonymous one, or someone from this board.

I know who hit it, but I don't think it's my place to out them. I will say that it was someone that has played it a fair share and not some lucky tourist that put in $100 on a whim. It was hit in late July for a little over $145,400.

I don't really need to know "who" hit it and I appreciate that you don't want to give their name. I am happy to know that it was someone who was trying for it, for some reason that seems more "correct". What luck.
