In Bob's article he writes "If you bring written records for several previous dates, they will usually take your word that you deserve more points. If you have a scrap of paper with a number on it, they have no way of knowing whether you just wrote that down or if it's part of your regular record-keeping system"
Another way to present evidence to a slot club to get a reward multiplier or tier bonus is to take a time/dated picture with your cell phone (if your phone doesn't have this setting there are camera apps that do)
Most of the VP machine's slot club windows now show either your name or slot card # and you tier score/how many points you have earned that day. I take a picture of it when starting and finishing play. I have used this successfully to get my multiplier adjusted.
