Bob, thanks for waiting until AFTER Charlie's pulled the game from
their $1 10-play before writing. Maybe it's never too late to catch
on, after all. Now if you can only get the Palms, your client, to
put it in on a 100-play. This was undoubtedly the best play in town
for several months (unless of course, you had a team and were
sending people in to play a dozen cards or so to play Super Aces-see
below).

I had returned from being on the road when I discovered the machines
were moved and paytables and games changed (8-5 SDB now the best of
the lot). I was told that a slot supervisor complained that everyone
came in playing dollar Joker 2-pair and killed them. Funny, I
thought there were like three guys in town who could still play
there who were doing that. You mean, it WASN'T the subsistence pros
coming in with a 3" stack of cards on someone else's dough to play
quarter 10-line Super Aces for $10/hr? It really burns me to hear
stuff like that because all I ever saw was the SAB being pounded
into submission. The only people I ever saw playing Joker played it
horribly.

I switched to Joker after swinging $3K one time too many playing
said 10-liner at Charlie's. I gave up a little bit in EV, maybe $8-
10 or so, but the play was always over in 45 minutes with smaller
swings at dollars than SAB at quarters.

Joker is tough, probably even tougher than AA and really not for the
dilletante. SAB is child's play, and 10/7 is a piece of cake by
comparison. My dog can play SAB (and why didn't I get a card for
him?). Basically, with the exception of SF3 over S4i1, when in
doubt, draw the lesser number of cards. If you don't believe me, you
can play it at Rampart and Strat and in many SoCal Indian joints-
Barona and Viejas offer it in 100-play up to quarters. Just remember
about the only redraw hand is AKQ32 with no RF2 or F3.

As Bob would say, thanks in advance. He'd like to thank for for
playing them, because it's folks like you that made him what he is
today.
