Bob Dancer's ethics or lack thereof.

Harry Porter wrote "Right ... like we've seen ethics discussions
where some participant has seen the light and written, "Gee ...
you're absolutely right! I vow to return to the path of the saints."

The last thing in the world I intended by my post was to try to get
Bob Dancer to become an ethical person.
Dancer has done many things that others, reflecting, would be
embarrassed about having committed.

Dancer on the other hand is so proud of his unethical practices
which include lying to friends, bribery, and reneging on business
agreements, that he chooses to feature them in his autobiography.

Someone like that, at least at this time in his life, is beyond, as
you put it, "seeing the light".

ethics. Just that EV could potentially be boosted by acting in a way
that many people might feel is unethical. Heck I was hoping we'd hear
lots more examples of how we could gain an advantage. I think my
poorly made point was that this would probably be more effective
than worrying about penalty cards. The very point I think the
original author was making before being moved to this board."

He's correct - that was my point (that Dancer's penalty cards had
nothing to do with his making money, but that his unethical
practices clearly played a major role.

Harry Porter wrote "Ethics discussions are nothing more than a
chance to blow off a little steam (been there, done that), at the
risk of a generating a very negative, disruptive thread. No one's
converted or even swayed modestly from their own perspective."

You have a narcissistic perspective. You may be so set in your ways
and your opinions that you are incapable of being "...converted or
even swayed modestly from [your]own perspective", no matter what the
evidence, but you do not speak for myself and I'm sure many others.

Someone has already posted on vpFREE that sellers of vp merchandise
are being very revealing in their posts - I imagine he was referring
to Dancer. I'm sure many others are getting the point (even if
you're not).
