Perhaps. (And thank you.) But any teacher who isn't also a student isn't much of a teacher. And the honors graduate who isn't still in the "trying to learn more" mode won't retain his/her edge.
In my "Million Dollar Video Poker" autobiography I quoted Dr. Willam Allen, one of my Economics professors at UCLA in the early 1970s. Allen said: "Research is to teaching as sin is to confession. Without the first, you have nothing to say in the second."
That still applies.
