Bob Dancer's CasinoGaming Column - 4 DEC 2007

Sorry, not a chance in hell you play NSUDs perfectly. Even Bob, who places
high value on perfection, admits he cannot remember EVERY penalty card
situation for that game. Not a surprise, as there are literally hundreds!

I know 10/7 DB strategy perfectly. NSUDs is almost impossible to learn
perfectly. By "perfectly," I assume you mean including every penalty card
situations. No freaking way!

Those of us
who cant are wrong. I can live with it for DB , but not for NSUD.
It took a while but I do play that game perfect now.

I appreciate Brian's post. While I've been making exactly the same
argument for a while, there are people here who choose to argue with or
deny many of the things I say. Since Brian is (deservedly)
well-respected here, perhaps his making the same point will convince
some of the doubters. Playing NSU perfectly is MUCH harder than playing
10/7 perfectly.

Brian was actually one of the people I had in mind when I wrote in the
column that I knew players who knew 10/7 perfectly. (This isn't the same
as ALWAYS playing 10/7 perfectly --- nobody's perfect all of the time
--- but it's close.) I didn't feel comfortable identifying him by name
as he might not want that fact known by others, but since he "outed"
himself, I'll merely add that I believe him when he makes that claim.
