I've the seen the $1199 signs which are basically
bragging that you aren't going to get a W2G but I've
never seen one that says non-taxable.
I vaguely remembered a previous discussion about this
so I looked it up. In 2002 Elliott Shapiro wrote
"A number of casinos have signs above various banks
advertising a jackpot of $1199 with the words "tax
Free"." He said they were at Fiesta Rancho and Boulder
Station. Probably gone now.
