I won a court case when a representative of a company I worked for promised me a certain commission if I sold a certain stock. When I wound up not getting that commission, I sued and won. The reason I won was that the person that represented the company made the offer, and since he represented the company, it was a valid offer.

I found this to be an interesting article, and one that all should read. I believe that events happened exactly the way Bob said they did. I agree that tropicana is obviously having internal problems. I would never spend any of my money at any casino that has demonstrated that they are not trustworthy when dealing with clients engaged in promotions.

It's too bad. trop used to be a great casino when Charlie and I started to visit in Las vegas; unfortunately that was in 1986

The same company got their license revoked in New Jersey. Tells you something about their credibility, and the quality of Nevada regulation.

Sorry, this is no longer true. Columbia Sussex lost the Las Vegas trop
during last year's bankruptcy. It is hard to tell if the Yung family has any
stock in the new company (it doesn't look like it but you never know) but if
they do there is no control.

Well, I would say they just lost about 10,473 VP Free members.

It's not good press but the Trop "losing 10,473 VP free members" is over the top. Only a few advantage VP gamblers are Hustlers. The Pro's would be smart to stay away from the Trop for awhile. Reminds me of when Coast hired a known felon who knew a lot of Hustlers.
