Problem is when the game is on a machine, there's usually something
better and more familiar. Consider where 8-5 SDDB used to be:
Peppermill (Reno) on $1-$2-5 3-play, with NSUD (now 7-5), and SAB
close by ; Trump Plaza ($1-$2-$5-$10), with SAB (now extinct, as well
as the SAB); Harrah's Reno ($1 progressive, .625% meter, long gone).
The only place which comes to mind that would have the game is
Tamarack Jct. in Reno, but you can play 8-5 SAB, 10-6-40 DDB, 15-11
Deuces, etc. there. Not to worry, they have great paying machines and
that's about it. The rest fall under the "similar" category.
Atlantis (Reno) has the 99.9x MSSTP 8-5 game for quarters or halves
(10-coin quarters); Baldini's (Sparks) has the MS game (about 99.9 as
well) in 5-play for nickels and dimes. Fandango (Carson City) has a
6-5 progressive, both quarters and dollars, with .5 free play and 1%
meter. The $1 progressive gets some play and I've seen it over $10K
twice in the last 4-5 visits there.
I can't think of any place in LV other than Silverton which has the
game, and again, one can play better stuff there, even on the Dancer
glassed machines. Rainbow in Henderson might have it, they're owned by
Peppermill and have lots of good VP there.
