Bob Dancer's CasinoGaming Column - 16 NOV 2010

I watched a player at Bellagio make $3 million in video poker in one weekend: 1st weekend of November 2009.

He got a dealt royal for $1.2 million, and $800 thousand more in 2 hrs. 28 pages of jackpots.
Might have been the guy who hit a $100 royal earlier at Caesar's.

Day he left, instead of giving the $2 million back, he won $200,000 five more times.

Amount of money he spent at Caesar's to get the first royal: unknown
Amount he collected from Bellagio in one weekend: $3 million (7.5 royals)

He put a serious dent in the Bellagio High Limit room finances for November.
Last time I asked, the Bellagio staff had not seen him back.

It's the most I've ever seen anyone win at Video Poker.
He was betting $1,500 on triple-play $100.

So for us on lower budgets, it's like winning $30,000 in a weekend playing triple-play $1 ($15/hand)
or $3,000 in a weekend playing triple-play $0.10 ($1.50/hand).

Look like this guy?:

He did the Caesars thing. They put the Dueces at 100.7 percent and he tagged them. Richard "quiet lion" Brodie. Has a website, author of Meme books and creator of micrsoft word........

Really? I've actually done just nearly about that...
My FIRST weekend switching to "really" playing vP...
Got a 25c Royal friday night off of my first $100 (cashed out with $1100). Next day got a DEALT 25c royal off of $20.
That really is a SICKENING way to start off a vP career, LOL.
It's taken me 4 years to get CLOSE to that feat (Hit a $1200 progressive royal friday night; $500 Quad Aces w/kicker Saturday; Good craps win on Sunday)

He won on video poker so Harrah's excluded him from all properties plus the World Series of Poker:

Later that week Harrah's relented and let him play in the WSOP:
