Bob Dancer's CasinoGaming Column - 16 MAR 2010

No place is 100% safe. If you are recognized as someone who is likely to be
carrying lots of cash, like a famous high stakes poker player, the
chances go up, as you are much more likely to be targeted. A few years ago, Greg
Raymer was also the victim of an attempted robbery in the hall outside his
hotel room, but he fought back, and the thieves ran away.

It's always a good idea to NOT flash large amounts of cash in a casino. You
never know if the person who happens to see you do it is a thief.

As for the CasinoGaming column, I wonder why Bob and Michael didn't go
into two adjacent stalls. They could then have safely and easily passed the
cash under the partition, unobserved.

It's called multitasking, everybody's doing it these days. The hotel

If you're smart you don't take any money to the room.

Believe it or not, I would never thought about a robbery in my hotel,
as charlie and I always stay at nice places, like Palms, Red Rock,
etc. but here we have a robbery in one of the nicest hotels on the
strip, the Bellagio. I am telling you, it taught me a
lesson...thanks for posting. Annie

I feel like I'm missing something with this story, like he sexed it up for the purpose of an article. I've had to split up a few thousand with friends a bunch of times. We don't go into the bathroom cloak and dagger style to do it lol.

He didn't mention in the article if they washed their hands after exiting the stall.

:> I think they were following that Perfect Strategy so got scared of the "FLUSH" penalty.

Can't they split the money in either of their houses which I am guessing should not be too far. Oops...if they do that and there is nothing to write about vp, then there would be no article to submit to Casino Gaming Column.
