There is a sign on each of these machines indicating a greater than 100%
payback. This of course is not the case for each game on the machine.
Examples are JOB and NSUD. How can Bob Dancer in good conscience have his
picture on these so called over 100% machines?

People have the option to play 1 over 100%. We need not question his
conscience but rather the judgement of players who do not avail
themselves of them.

don't have a problem with it. Remember, that "100%+" only applies to
players who use optimum playing strategy (or close enough to
optimum). And of course, optimum strategy begins with choosing a

I would have a problem with it, however, if Bob Dancer's picture were
plastered all over machines that have NOTHING but 8/5 JB, "ugly
ducks," 9/6 DB, and other short-pay crapola. That would be
completely inconsistent with everything he teaches.

There's no clear winner in this situation. If there are multiple
games (say ten games) in the machine, and only one game has a return
that is over 100%, I would say that is misleading. In the same vien,
when I was asking Sigma Game for over 100% return game for Ten Seven
Poker(TM), I could have easily designed a paytable that is 100.01%
and tell everyone the game is over 100% (no, I can't disclose the
actual return). But, that's my conscience at work.
IMHO, I think the primarily purpose of the Bob Dancer picture is to
convene the message that these are games Bob would play [and included
with other goodies would return over 100%].

It has been reported that these machines have been installed @ the
Fiesta-Rancho. Are the same machines available at Fiesta-Henderson?
Upon reading BD's CG column, I begin to wonder why on
earth would it be that adding Pick'em to the inventory
of VP games on "BD Top Picks" at the Fiesta(s) would
be very expensive or at least 'cost-prohibitive'.

I don't know this to be the case, but I believe pick'em is a
proprietary game of Bally Gaming. (I've never seen it anywhere but on
their machines.) It would be necessary for the manufacturer of the
multigame machines at Fiesta to license the game from Bally's.
