Frank, it's been obvious from your posts that you are quite a devotee of
Dancer.
I've been reading Dancer for a lot longer than 2 years & he is everything you
say he is.
But he works both sides of the fence!
He does consulting for the casinos and holds seminars for casinos at gaming
conferences. Since he has been barred or comp-limited from several casinos, I
would surmise that a significant portion of his income portfolio is now
coming from helping casinos put in SOP's that work to the detriment of
players. I think Dancer has always made his money honestly but this is a path
that has been traveled by many former pros who, when they could no longer
make money beating the casinos, joined the casinos & showed them how to
stifle the pros & beat the players up even more.
However, he didn't wait for that twilight time when the gambling income
stream started to dribble down to nothing. He has been working both sides for
many years now.
Whether this is right or wrong is up to you & how intact your ethical
standards are. I think you can tell from my tone how I feel about this.
Regardless, I respect his writings in that it always seem honest. I just wish
he wouldn't spend so much time on minutiae & dead plays.
