JTOrder my book at www.theundeniabletruthaboutsourdoughtoast.com
i'm surprised dancer is leading by such a large margin. it could be
argued that he should be inducted into the video poker hall of shame
(yes shame) for his *consulting* work he has done for the casinos. he
is working both sides of the fence and milking it for all it is
worth. just read his book. you'll see the man has very little in the
way of morals or ethics. don't think for a new york minute that he
wouldn't some vp players out if it had a high enough EV.
I've been to one class many years ago & did get some useful & accurate
information out of it. His charming wife Shirley was also an asset to the class.
At the time, I didn't know anything about his ethics and had a very good
opinion of him which was totally based on the information that I had received for
free. Afterwards, people started to "wise" me up about how he played both
sides of the fence. This was confirmed by his own admission & columns in various
publications advising both players & casinos. In many of his columns, he would
share details about dead plays and the way he had taken maximum advantage of
an opportunity.
I'm sure that if I met Michael Milken that I would also be charmed initially
as he has done a lot of good since he's gotten out of prison. However, every
time I meet a retiree whose pension has been busted by one of his schemes I'd
be reminded how the sins of the past outweigh the good that's been done. Dancer
is not in Milken's class as all his accomplishments/offenses would fall in
the "petty" category by comparison.
Dancer deserves a lot of thanks for educating the masses. But it's important
to recognize that he has also changed the way players are treated (mostly for
the worse) due to the extreme ways in which he takes advantage of promotions.
Give him his due & thank him for teaching (some of) us how to play. Due to his
free classes, a lot of people give him blind allegiance & are closed-minded
to the damage that he's done.
If you're ever competing against Dancer in a promotion, remember Dancer uses
the Golden Rule, but only the first part of it.
