I always enjoy Bob Dancer articles, especially when they center around my
gambling haunt of Laughlin. His high roller perspective is in contrast to my low
roller viewpoint. In Laughlin $2k coin-in/day will get you good enough mail
for comped rooms, at least on weekdays in several joints.

His "Busted" article about his Harrahs-L exploits can be found under the
Casinogaming.com archeives. This is a favorite of mine.

But I have been hanging out at the Trop Express more over the last couple of
years. The casino is roomy with something to play at my level. You can't
beat the live music line-up in the remodeled Caboose Lounge. They start early,
like 2pm, and go late enough for me. Bob has written about taking a twirl
around this dance floor.

This particular new VP 365 article has Bob talking about evaluating this
unique promotion offered. The main jist is figuring out the wacky "Express
Millions" gameboard.

But the sidebar is just what is Bob playing in this house? Quoting Bob in
the article, . "Plus they had games returning more than 100% for me to play".
TE has been downgrading their inventory over the years. My recollection is the
best game offered in July 2008 was .50 single line Bonus 8/5, with the TE
long running promo of quad sevens pays triple. This is a 100% stand-alone play,
with a .5% in total slot card.

I can't imagine BD playing anything less than $5 single line. But these
higher roller plays left the house a couple years ago. The Grand Junction-High
Limit room/bar used to have decent plays back then.

So what the heck did Bob play in July 2008 at the Trop Express?
