bob dancer sabotaging advantage players

Bob Dancer has and always will have one and only one priority in regards to casino's and gambling.....his own wallet. Dancer would not teach classes if he didn't get paid for. He wouldn't share information unless he gained benefits from it. It's nice to think his motives are altruistic in nature, but if you have ever spent a few minutes with the man, you know very quickly that he is out for #1 and #1 only.

I think Bob Dancer could be a Double Agent!

Regards,

007

But the point as phrased in this thread is whether he is trying to
sabotage the advantage player. Clearly not.

really?

here are two newsletters circulated to casino employees, containing
articles written by bob dancer, titled "beware of smart players". it
lists a number of typical ways that casinos accidentally create
opportunities for advantage players, and how to shut them down.

At least Singer teaches people free and on his own time.

I am just a little bit familiar with Singer, and what I saw of his philosophy was pure nonsense. Someone please correct me, the relative newb, if I am out of line.

Bob Dancer's books, on the other hand, are the pure NUTS! That guy really makes you think. And that's the most fun part about video poker, in my opinion, is unlocking the subtle riddles. I like learning the different plays that earn one an extra three cents every century. Of course it's not going to fatten my wallet, but like Bob Dancer has said, and I agree, those who are interested in studying the finer points will ultimately do better than those who simply remember a "smoothed out" strategy. And it's FUN! For goodness sake, it seems like a lot of people just want things to be so easy for them. That's no fun. It's more fun to work hard at something. It's more rewarding.

I agree totaly with Dan's statments below. If you know him (Dancer) you would not trust him one bit. I have knowledge about the man and stay as far away from him as possible.

Why do you think the crap at Venetian is happening? The 2 people brought in from Harrah's over there are destroying a classy place just like they did at Caesar's. Did they figure out all this by them selves? I think not!!

Did you guys know that the manufacturers of police radar guns also make radar detectors?

Think about it!

Gosh, I didn't realize Bob Dancer was such a popular guy here on this bulletin board. I'm going to take a wild guess that you guys don't send him invitations for the Gold Coast lunch get-togethers or whatever they are. lol

Now, there is a heretical line, if I ever heard one, for the times that we live in. As we fall toward socialism (following the lead of the Europeans and the Canadians), everybody is supposed to have everything and never have to work for it, or so the politicians would like us to believe, both Bush and Obama. LOL

Uh! Sorry for the rant! But, I could not let that one pass.

You have to keep in mind that the stuff Bob writes about is also the same stuff he advises the casinos to take action against you. So, if you exactly follow Bob's advice, you fall into the casino's (and Bob's) hands. You need to develop your own strategies and tactics if you want to beat the casino and Bob. Personally I'm a big fan of Kelly optimal strategy, but you never know, I might just be saying that to make money off you, or maybe Bell Labs gets a kickback, who knows.

Which reminds me, has anyone received their bounceback this month from the IRS? I didn't even get a 2-for-1 buffet offer. It sucks.

Is it really necessary for neo-cons to spew venom constantly against anything they disagree with? Everything but you is evil?

Please stop cluttering this board with hate.
