I attend his classes whenever he comes to Atlantic City.
He's an interested, involved and more than capable instructor. He seems to
enjoy his teaching quite a bit but/and he doesn't seem to be the most
personable guy.

I have yet to manage to attend one of the Borgata appearances (and the
LV classes have been off my itinerary). I grasp from your comments
that he's somewhat detached during the classes you've attended.

I'll speak from a reasonably decent handful of email exchanges, as
well as comments from those who've managed a drink with him after
classes in LV and AC, and suggest he can come across very much as
someone who takes a very personal interest in others and is interested
in being of help without any appearance of seeking self-serving
gratification or ego stroking.

At the same time, there's little doubt that he's very exacting in his
expectations of himself as well as others. While I have no experience
in this regard, I fully expect that under some circumstances he may be
very abrupt and/or tempermental. But that's speculation (and likely a
bit of self projection ;). My personal exposure and that relayed
anecdotally by others is that he's extraordinarily good humored and
fine spirited.

My wife sat through a couple of his classes and did not find them
very motivating/interesting. To be fair, the subject matter itself
doesn't really lend itself to much excitement. However, if you're
truly interested in the subject matter then it sounded to me like he
did a good job.

I went to one of his classes at the Borgota a couple year's ago. Dancer was funny and he explained everything well, even for those who arent' that good at math.
But meeting him personally, he does seek kind of shy. His wife is real nice and friendly.
