Today's mail brought the monthly Rampart mailer.
Inside is an offer for his and hers toolkits.
For 500 points, you can get his toolkit - 141 pieces in a gray plastic case.
For 250 points, you can get her toolkit - 26 pieces in a pink plastic case.
For 750 points, you can get both.
Of course, his is a better value. For only twice as many points, you get
460% more pieces (not counting the case) but that's sort of misleading
because a bunch of those pieces are screws and the like in a little plastic
box.
You'd think the smaller one would be a subset of the larger, but it's not.
Each has items the other doesn't, so getting both would result in one having
a more comprehensive set.
His has 4 jeweler's screwdrivers. Hers has 6. I assume this is because she
probably has more jewelry than he does.
His has Allen wrenches. Hers does not. This makes sense because Allen is
(usually) his name, not hers.
His has a razor knife. Hers does not. Considering some of the
relationships I've had, I can see the wisdom in leaving lethal weapons out
of hers.
