I only played in one blackjack tourney and I understand the need for
guidance. Here's what I did.
Go to www.blackjackinfo.com They offer some excellent helps for the typical
or also the beginner. They feature a section on tournaments. It's very
thorough with serious advice on the unique requirements of the tournament player.
For example, the strategy basics is an excellent primer. You'll also find
lessons dealing with such things like Catch up Bets, a topic you won't find in most
blackjack articles because the subject only matters to a tournament player.
After reviewing this, take a trip to www.blackjacktournaments.com. One of
the great things here is that they show the actual plays of the last few hands
of several different tournaments. Armed with some of the understanding form
blackjackinfo, you can see how the better players actually played out their
strategies.
Hope this helps.
