Black Oak or Chicken Ranch?

Has anyone been to either lately and possibly know if/where the full pay JoB or BP machines are located? I'm heading up through Sonora on Thursday and thought I might stop in since it's only a couple minutes out of the way to get to either one. If not, I'll try to check out the inventory at either one or both and report back next week if anyone is interested.

Thanks,
Spyder

At Chicken Ranch, you can't miss the 9/6 JOB machines if there are
still there. Keep in mind the manufacturer is not IGT but some
strange firm(s). I don't recall any full pay BP machines there. I
am not kidding, there are less than 400 machines in that place --
the slots are just an adjunct for their main bingo operations.

I was at Black Oak maybe 6 months ago and the the 9/6 was in $1 with
8/5 JOB in quarter. Again, not a lot of machines so if you spend 30
minutes scouting them out, you should find them as most of the
machines are slots. Black Oak does have cash back if you are
interested.

Please report back with your trip report. Thanks.

I see I am way late in a response, but I am still curious about a
report from Spyder. Chicken Ranch is really a dump of a place, and
the 9/6 JOB machines are not operating with a RNG- these have got to
be VLT's so who knows what the real return is. ??

Black Oak is really a nice atmosphere, but you are right about there
being few VP machines. My last stop a few months ago found the $1 FP
machines all downgraded. I could not find any full pay mahinces in
the place. They used to have some quarter triple play 8/5 BP, but
they paid even money on two pair. ouch. They changed it to a 7/5 BP
with 2 on 2 pair, so a bit of an improvement. Their market seems to
be the slot player with a lot of bus loads of seniors.
