The Plaza birthday bonus is the only casino promo I know about that has to be done on your actual birthday.
South Point gives 2500 points ($7.50) if you play one point any time during your birthday month. Also check with any casinos where you are already established to see what they may offer.
Since you will be 50 years old, you qualify for senior promotions. Most of the locals casinos have a senior day once a week. Check their websites for details.
