birthday offer from Harrah's

When redeeming this birthday offer be sure to bring the mailer with you. I
did this in NOLA and had to argue with several people at Total Rewards,
because they all wanted to give me double Reward Credits, and the offer is
for Base Credits, which could be a lot more valuable to a player trying to
move up in tier level.

This is the second time something like this has been posted, and I haven't seen anyone clarify it at all. There's a difference between "base credits", "bonus credits", and "tier credits". Base credits have no impact on your tier except that under normal circumstances they're earned at the same rate. An offer to double your Reward Credits should have no impact on your tier score at all. Regardless how many bonus credits or base credits you get, your tier score is still only going to increase 1 point per $5 (slots) or $10 (VP).

I took advantage of this offer last year. It does in fact add to tier credits as the other posters said.

It's a good idea to *always* bring the physical offer with you when dealing with casinos. The one time out of twenty that it saves you will make up for all the other 19/20 times when you didn't need to bring it.
