Read my points at Binion's yesterday and was surprised
to see that my point balance was exactly 10% of what I
expected. Instead of 60,250 points, I had 6,025
points.
Of course I inquired about this at the slot club and
was told that yes, they changed their point structure
but we didn't lose any point value. 1000 points used
to be worth $1 in comps. Now 100 points equals $1 in
comps. So my points used to be worth $60.25 in comps
and still are.
They also changed the amount of coin-in to earn a
point.
Old: 50c Coin-in = 1 Point
Comps: 1000 Points = $1 (0.2%)
New - Video Poker: $3 Coin-in = 1 Point
Comps: 100 Points = $1 (0.33%)
New - Slots: $1.50 Coin-in = 1 Point
Comps: 100 Points = $1 (0.67%)
Also the Friday/Saturday Cash for Points promo has
been discontinued. It added .4%-.5% in cash.
