Got a letter from Binion’s that Gaming Control found that their long running Mother Lode Swipe and Win promotion had a “software misconfiguration” such that it was impossible to win the top $2500 prize. As a result they are having 2 drawing in May for $150,000 and $100,000 to give back the prizes that theoretically should have been awarded. The former is only for players that had played to Tier 3 level. Drawing is automatic and winner will be notified. The later drawing is open to anyone who played to Tier 1 and 2 anytime during the promotion. Every day in May you can stop at slot club to get one drawing entry for the May 31 drawing. Guess we know why the game is gone!

My wife and I received the same letter.

The first drawing will be held on Friday May 3rd at 10am. 60 winners of $2,500 cash and you can win more than once. You do not need to be present to win.

I think its a good solution to the issue.
