Bill Velek's question

Can you tell me how you've determined the variance of MS is equal to a single
line game of the same amount? I enjoy MS, but the variance to me seems sky
high. I've literally lost at $1 MS where I couldn't shove the bills in fast
enough. I've lost $100 in 30 seconds where I had 5 hands and never climbed up a
level. At least in single line or 3 play JOB, I can usually sit down and have a
drink in between feeding the machines.

Since my name was put in the subject line for this segment of the thread, I thought it appropriate to remind all readers that the post quoted below is from Harry Porter and not from me; it has been some time since I commented on MultiStrike variance, and the best I can recall, I think I calculated it to be something like 50 or 60 or something like that. I lost all my previous data and will need to take a look at it again when I get a chance. Meanwhile, I am also interested in how or why Harry believes the variance to be 'in the neighborhood of a single line game'. I'm also changing the subject line.

Cheers.
