I just heard that Bill Burton, former About.com guide to CasinoGambling, passed away in Connecticut. He had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s last year. He was a skilled VP player who also wrote very practical advice on gambling. He was also a real gentleman.

A true loss for the gaming community. I did business with Bill, mostly through e-mail, but was fortunate enough to meet him once several years ago when he came through town. Such a lovely man.
