Expect to pay as the room nights are usually bought up by a 3rd party &
packaged in 3-night minimums at high prices. However, I was able to get my stay
comped which started at the end of the River Run last year. It was just an
accident as I had forgotten about it & my usual MO is to book at the last minute
& apparently some rooms were returned to the casino. Can't remember where I
stayed, either Harrahs or Edgewater. Parking was very bad but did find
parking in Harrahs garage. First time I ever saw EW garage full. Once you find
parking, leave the car & walk. On last day, crowds weren't bad & think many
machines were available. Why don't you do what some biker friends have done in the
past: Stay in S LV & drive in during the River Run. Because they avoided the
high prices, they felt a lot better about the trip & not getting ripped off.

Has anyone recently been to Laughlin during bike week? Just curious
what type of crowds to expect, numberswise? Can you get around, are
machines open, security? I know bikers and can tolerate noise but not
shootings and fights. Seriously, we are off that week and would want
to stay maybe the first part of the week, when do the masses arrive?
The 19th, 20th, 21st should be ok? We are HET.Thanks.
