Has anyone recently been to Laughlin during bike week? Just curious
what type of crowds to expect, numberswise? Can you get around, are
machines open, security? I know bikers and can tolerate noise but not
shootings and fights. Seriously, we are off that week and would want
to stay maybe the first part of the week, when do the masses arrive?
The 19th, 20th, 21st should be ok? We are HET.Thanks.

Bike Week/River Run- the days before and after the River Run are some of the
slowest in Laughlin. I have been there for both periods. It isn't until
Wednesday that things start to pick-up.
The outdoor shows and official stuff does not start until Thursday. You can
watch the town gear up for the onslaught before this time. The tents start
popping up in every parking lot.
The saddest thing to me is the best live music of the year runs during
Thurs-Sat of River Run. I won't be there basically because prices are outragious
with three night minumums, unless you really are a high roller.
If you leave town by Thursday noon you will be just fine.
