I had a friend once who seemed brain dead [opps] to the average onlooker. He
never smiled, never laughed, talked slow, never said anything funny. You
figured he was smart enough to keep his mouth shut. One day I found out his job
was writing comedy for the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, blew me away.
