Harry boiled it down quite well. If the multiplier had only increased the
payoff for the straight, then of course the correct hold would change.
However. every hand payoff changed equally. Multi-Strike on the top line or with a
Free Ride would be a similar situation.
Consider it this way. If a progressive proceeds to a certain point, then
strategy changes would be in order because the royal - alone - is changing.
Remember Flush Attacks? Same idea.

(weighted by their respective probability). A multiplier increases
the value of those outcomes with the same proportion across the board.
Therefore, there are no strategy changes.
