BIG Palms management change...

Jim Hughes, who has been the Palms GM since the beginning,
is no longer at the Palms. The position of GM is currently vacant.

A brief news article last week said that Paul Pusateri has been named the new president of the Palms. He was previously an Executive VP at the Venetian.

Then I received a chummy email a few days ago from Tony Tricase who says he is the new Director of Slot Marketing at the Palms. His name sounded familiar so I searched the messages here. It turns out that he used to be Executive Director of Casino Marketing at the Venetian.

No surprise. Lots of suits leaving the Venetian, usually not of their own free will.

I hate to hear that. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Jim at a private function in the Ghost Bar and he was extremely kind and gracious. Any idea where he went?
