Big Dog's VP promotions

One item that might be worth mentioning in the vpFREE database is the
VP at Big Dog's bar/casino. I don't know what they're doing now, but
the last time I was there in July, they had some sweet deals. Here's
what they had then (maybe others can update with more current info):

* NO games that I saw were full-pay by themselves. The 9/6 Jacks had
a 2500-coin (short-pay) royal. But never fear; read on...
* With a player's club card, you got a $10 bonus for a quad in
your "lucky" card rank. (I selected jacks, of course.) This is good
for quarter machines, max-coin play, once per day.
* With a player's club card, you got a $10 bonus for a FOUR-CARD
royal in your "lucky" suit. Same rules as above apply. If it wasn't
in your suit, you got a ticket for their monthly cash drawing.
* If you ordered steak sliders (good stuff), you got a coupon for a
$10 bonus on a FULL HOUSE. It's hard to lose with that deal,
although I managed to do so once!
* With the LVA Pocketbook of Values coupon, you get a $10 bonus for
ANY natural quad. The bonus may be good during other promotional
times without a coupon.

I would like to see some analysis done on the proper strategy when a
4-card royal in a certain suit pays $10 (40 coins). I believe it
adds rougly 0.2% to the payback, but I'm not sure.

Jeff,
Here are some questions that you might help you reach an accurate
analysis. Is the 4-card-royal promotion good for dealt hands only or is it
good for a hand that has a 4-card-royal after the draw? Also, is the
promotion good if the 4-card-royal is a winning hand (SF, FL, ST, or paying
pair)?

I believe this was promoted as "one away from the big pay." The
bonus was good for 4-card royals after the draw. If it happened to
be a paying ST, FL, SF, or high pair, I think the bonus was still
good. It's been 5 months since then, so I have no idea whether Big
Dog's is still doing this promo.
