"Beverage Ambassadors"

At the Palms they've eliminated the middle man (pimp). The working girls
just come up to you while you are playing and ask, "Are you winning?" The next
question is, "Feel like some company?" Naturally, they only approach guys
playing dollar and up machines.

My friends in Security say they only take action if there is a complaint
from a player. Since most of the girls are attractive and polite, they get very
few complaints.

I have played quite a bit at the HR during the past nine years, and have
never been approached there by a hooker. It's happened over a dozen times at the
Palms in five years.

The HR is directly across the street from a high class strip club, so guys
who are looking for this type of action can almost certainly get a "referral"
there.

This is one of the more surreal threads in awhile ... sure we're not
talking Palms or HR here?

LOL...your reputation must precede you. For about a year and a half,
no matter what part of the country I was in, I got to hear about yet
another big win of yours. Word obviously filters down.

Absolutely nothing going on at Paradise*. I've never been approached
on the game at Palms, but frequently away from it. Some breaking news:
telling them you're a local no longer is an automatic deterrent. I
toss them a compliment, wish them well and safely and send them on
their way.

*the stuff written about the dancers in Burning Down the House was
pure fiction. Mezrich has never let the facts get in the way of
successfully pitching a script to Hollywood, to the chagrin of many a
former MIT BJ team member.

Once, while my hubby was waiting for me outside a restroom at Mandalay Bay, he was approached by a "working gal." I must be dressing him too well
