Better Link

We're still the same old local-yokels ourselves, so you don't have to worry
about us developing a problem with having our noses in the clouds. We know
that we just got lucky.

Those "heavy hitters" are almost all just regular guys (and gals)
themselves. Most of them project a persona under the TV lights that is entirely
different from how they are offstage. So did I, with hefty encouragement from the
producers. I won't tattle here, but we'd be happy to tell anyone about it in
person, perhaps at the next get-together. Trust me, there are some
surprises in those tales.

I hope Lady Luck smiles on you soon. For me (and Deb, too), I think she
already did her smiling for the year - on a TV soundstage.

You guys have been hanging with some heavy hitters there, are you
sure you still want to hang with us local-yocal guys here in Detroit?

I'm in a royal draught also. Last summer I hit three royals (one
on Pick'Em) in the same month, then nothing since. Hang in there.
Randomness is a cold, uncarring, heartless bitch. Sooner or later she
will have to smile on you.

Congrats to Deb and Brian. That's great that both of you played in the big tournament. I'm surprised you don't just play blackjack, this VP is a damn killer. Look forward to haring your stories at our next "board meeting".
