I'm not sure what you're looking for. Could you explain a little more
about your transit needs, like where you're starting from? And what
type of video poker do you consider "best"? Best expected return?
What denominations do you play?
Thanks,
Jim
Well, where are you starting your transit trip from and what denom do
you play?

Does "transit access" include free casino shuttles?
Valley View has shuttles from Old Town Transit Center (next stop on
the Blue line from Washington St. Station) or from Park Blvd. &
University Ave., which is a stop on the Route 10 which serves the
Washington Street Trolley Station.
The only South County casino with public transit access is Viejas on
Route 864 - service every 60 minutes. It's a long trip though--take
the free Viejas bus from El Cajon Transit Center if you want because
it gets there via the freeway and not local streets. But I can't
remember if Viejas has a non-smoking casino.

Thanks, good info. What does Valley View offer in the way of N/S video poker? BTW Viejas does have a separate non smoking room on the east end with some good VP. Yes, casino shuttles are transit as this gives the option of the shuttle or the city buses or a mixture of the two for maximum flexibility. After a night of gambling, it is more relaxing and definitely safer to have someone else do the driving!

Yes, They have a Non smoking area but their video poker is less
than playable. Payback for the players Club is better than Barona but
the machines are very tight. Have played the bar 25-50-1 level and
found that they are far below a good pay schedule. Play else-where.

I was at Valley View last night, in the non-smoking room. But there are no doors on the room, and ventilation is poor, so after a few hours my eyes started to water, and my allergies were kicking in because of the smoke. All they have there is 99% or less on the 25c machines ("airport deuces"). NSUD is available if you go up to $1.

Have been going to Valley View for years to take them up on their all you can eat Lobster Buffet. Have never won ANYTIHING! Quite coing. Lobster not worth losing my butt over.
Did a Marathon at Barona last night. 15 hours on 2 dollar 9/6 JOB. Sad to say no Royal
but did not loose anything either. Went to get a room comped and had a hard time.
Hell, whats it take to get a comp there anyway. Finally got the room like Bob Dancer did, after bringing up the fact that I was playing 2 Dollar a line for friggin ever. They did come through though. 197.000 points are beggar points I guess
Have a good week out there.

Oh by the way Bob Dancer. All your machines are still legit

Besides, you have to wait in line for 1 1/2 or 2 hours to get into the damn "free buffet" at Valley view. Simply not worth it. We gave up & went into the coffee house (which is quite good, BTW).
That's pretty good if you could play VP for 15 hours and not start making lots of mistakes. If I play for more than about 2 or 3 hours at a stretch, my error rate goes way up.
