It is not all hopeless. Of course we are down to 12 FPDW in quarters
and 2 in nickels at EW.
The new Game Kings (8) by Kokopellis/Oasis Bar are pretty
worthless...with Bogus Bonus 8/5/30 (98.5%) as the best game.
The new Game Kings (10) by the registration desk are playable. These
slant-tops (.25, .50, $1) have 9/6 Jacks and Deluxe and NSUD in
TITO. Maybe an exotic or two too?
The best news out of the EW is the new progressive royal meter on the
Oasis Bar Game Kings. It is just on the quarters but all 30
stations/12 choices of VP are tied to the same meter. A guess is
a .25% rate.

Now let's stroll over to the CB Boiler Room. They have a new
brewmeister who can make decent beer. Marshall from Santa Fe now is
in charge. These brews are much better.
Guess what? They took out the four $1 single games with the green
screens in the middle of the bartop and replaced them with TITO Game
Kings. You can now play .25, .50, $1 levels on 9/6 Jacks, NSUD and
Triple Bonus Poker Plus 9/5 (99.8%). The quarter games are linked
with the other quarter bartops on the current progressive royal meter.
Also I wandered around upstairs. By the coffee shop in the non-
smoking alcove are ten upright Game Kings with .25, .50 and $1 9/6
Jacks, Deluxe and NUSD. These might have been here for awhile.
There is a cocktailer who works out of the Mississippi Lounge so you
might even get a beverage in this quiet spot without smoke.
CB is doing a fine "Spin and Win" promo daily through Labor Day.
