Best LV Casinos for .25 cent VP

Downtown
   - Re deuces, both El Cortez and Vegas Club have Downtown Deuces (100.92% EV), but bring more $$ since they have a much higher variance than the regular deuces. Main Street Station has Looses Deuces, but the variance is even higher than downtown deuces.
   - Re 10/7 DB and 9/6 JOB, El Cortez, Vegas Club, and Main Street Station have a number of these.

The Strip
    - Not much @ quarters. I'd recommend the Palms which is about 2 blocks off strip. They have progressive deuces. However, you won't earn much points or free room offers and the place has really loud music.

I would stick to downtown and play at the three I mentioned. Easy to get free room offers with minimal play. Also, most downtown casinos still have 3-2 BJ whereas the Strip is mostly &*(&!! 6-5. If you have your heart set on playing the 100.76 RV deuces, you can hop on a free bus to get to Sam's Town.

I'm staying in the El Cortez downtown and plan on doing most of my gambling in the downtown area (lower table minimums for BJ and I'm assuming more .25 cent VP machines)

My question is, what are the top casinos downtown for best odds VP

Music is loud, but not that bad.

I usually average about 60K for 2 1/2 days. My offers include free suite,
play, dining, and gifts. If you would like contact John Krauskof, you can
ask him to evaluate your play at the end of your stay.

I have went to the orleans, which is alright. Somewhat older and not as
many good machines like the palms.

I really like the palms rooms and vp machines better.

Give it a try, I think you might like it.

Good luck!! I'll be there on the 2nd.

Susan ......... 60K for 2 1/2 days = 24K daily average which sounds like you are playing $1 machines.

I was responding back assuming the inquirer was playing quarters (.25 in the threads' subject line). Most quarter players average at most 10K per day (800 hands per hour X 10 hours). At that average, it's tough for quarter VP players to get free room and food offers on/near the Strip casinos that have decent VP (I define decent VP as no lower that 9/6 JOB).

A 24K a day average is a different story but again that is probably $1 or higher VP machines. Anyway, hope you get some royals at the Palms on your next trip.
