Best Games For Beginner

You may actually want to go to Harrah's AK-Chin and scout all the video
poker to find out what is available for Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild.
Write down the 5 coin pay schedules and then use winpoker to find out the
payback percentages. If you find an acceptable game then use winpoker to
practice the strategy. For Jacks or Better if the full house pays 45 for 5
and the flush pays 30 for 5 the payback is 99.54%. For every five coin
reduction to either the full house or flush the payback goes down about
1.1%. Deuces have more variables so you should probably write down the
entire pay table and analyze them in Winpoker. In Arizona you are not going
to find the default Winpoker deuces so four of a kind is going to pay 20
for 5. To save time, you are probably looking for games where the full
house also pays 20 for 5 and the flush pays 15 for 5. The best of these
pays 125 for 5 on the wild royal, 80 for five of a kind and 50 for a
straight flush. You will often see the term NSU (Not So Ugly) used in this
chat group for this 99.73% game which is seen in many areas of the country
and is the best version found on multi-line games.
One advantage of Jacks or better is that the poorer paying games have
almost the exact same strategy as full pay.
The deuce games suggested above have very similar strategies to each other
but a significantly different strategy than the default deuce game shown in
Winpoker. This default game is found almost exclusively in Nevada (I think
there is still one house in Mississippi that has it.).
Good Luck.

As a newcomer to VP I intend to pick a couple of basic games to
master before moving on to other exotic onesl. I am thinking that
JoB and Deuces Wild would serve me best in learning the ropes but
also give me a selection of machines to play. I would be plaing
primarily at Harrah's Ak-Chin. I would appreciate any input anyone
might offer regarding my selections.

Go the the Oasis Lounge and play at the bar. The have a progressive

The problem is that they only pay 30 for 5 for the full house and 25
for 5 for the flush. Known as a 6/5 game, should be 8/5 for a
progressive. Play only the 5 machines on the right or the left side
of the bar. The ones in the middle have JOB, but without the
progression. While this is not as good a Nevada, your money will last
longer. Good Luck!
