The way I see it is that we only have three 25 cent games that are
barely worth playing in Detroit and one better game up at Hiawatha
Racetrack in Sarnia.
They are: 9/7 Double Bonus at MGM, Triple Bonus and NSUDeuces at
Motor City, and Pick'Em at Hiawatha. Lets take a look at how they
stack up against each other.
QUAD FREQUENCY (APPROX NO. OF HANDS)
ACES 2-3-4 5-K
9/7 DOUBLE BONUS (99.1%) 4566 1908 623
8/5 TRIPLE BONUS (98.7%) 4250 1845 613
PICK'EM (99.9%) 2360 (ALL)
NSU DEUCES (99.7&) 5355 (DEUCES ONLY)
ROYAL FLUSH
9/7 DOUBLE BONUS 48035
8/5 TRIPLE BONUS 38760
PICK'EM 351817
NSU DEUCES 43456
VP PAPPY'S "FULL HOUSE DOWN" FACTOR (FHD)
I get this number for Jack's or better games by adding up the five
coin pay scales for the
Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, and Jack's or
Better. Since this is the area that we play in the most, I think it
is a factor that we should consider when we pick Jack's or better
games to play.
FHD
9/7 DOUBLE BONUS 130
8/5 TRIPLE BONUS 110
And lastly, if we add up the credits for all the quads for each
game, we get:
9/7 DOUBLE BONUS 800+400+250= 1450
8/5 TRIPLE BONUS 1200+600+250= 2050
PICK'EM = 600 (ALL)
NSU DEUCES 1000 (DEUCES ONLY)
Lots of things to consider in choosing your game. Look over the
stats. Which one would you pick to play?
