Best deals for a Part Time player in Vegas

Hi everyone

I am a full time Vegas resident and part time Video Poker player. I
enjoy the info on the VPfree site and I learn quite a bit at the
lunches too. Though I only play for a few hours a week, I do get
some decent free-play, gift and even some food offers from the
following places:

Station Casinos (I live by Red Rock)
Silverton
Tuscany
Palms
Ellis Island
And the Suncoast sends me some OK offers.

Rampart & Cannery really do not send anything even though I play
there quite a bit.

Are there any other places anyone can suggest? I don't go to Sam's
Town or the Fiestas too often but maybe I should start.

Happy playing and good luck to everyone!

Tony

Well, I don't live there but for a part-timer I think Fiesta and
Sam's town both would be a good choice for you. Since we go alot (2-
3 times a month for 2-4 days each time) we have found that Fiestas
and Sam's town gives us alot. Both of them told us that the
offers/free play/etc... would be alot better if we were locals.
Just what I have been told..

Thanks for the advice, Missdeuces. I will give those places a try!

I concur completely with missdeuces. I am also a non-local, who stays
at FR no more than a few times per year. They have always treated me
very fairly. I have NEVER paid for a room or a meal anytime that I
stayed there, including the 1st time. I also get mailed coupons for
FP, matchplay, free buffets etc. For the lower denom. player, I think
that Fiesta is a very good choice.

What is the rationale in treating the local players with better offers?

For a given amount of play, why should the casino care whether you are
local or out-of-town?

In fact, they could give better offer for out-of-towners, knowing a
greater portion of them would not be redeemed!

I am not questioning the practice, just trying to understand it.

I believe in part because locals can take advantage of more multiple
point days and little gifts and etc...that non-locals can't or don't
know about. I know from talking with several locals that Sam's town
offers them more for certains days, etc...
