I play in AC or Dover, this trip means no Vega$ this year, so I've
gotta take what I can..
Thanks for the info y'all...
While I agree that the pay tables aren't up to LV standards, they're
not much worse than those in CT. In addition, Carnival's slot club
hooked up in a promo with Venetian, where I ($1 player) got a 4 night
large suite comp, $750 free play, a very nice dinner & a gift basket.
The bride ($.25 player) got 4 night smaller suite comp, $150 free play,
and a gift basket. We were able to take advantage of the offers on a
trip to LV in March.
I forget exactly what the onboard cashback rate was, but it was more
than we get in CT. (where there is no cashback, just comp points). It
may have been a one-time thing, but we didn't play all that much (a
couple of nights out of a 12 day cruise), and we did have relatively
good luck playing, maybe a couple of hundred down all told.
On our previous cruise, also on Carnival, I did really well, hit a RF,
a couple of bonus quads, and if I'm not mistaken, we earned maybe $150
freeplay on the second cruise (above). I'm not saying you'll earn a
living playing VP on board, and as much as anywhere else, luck factors
into it. But depending on what your favorite casino's paytables are, it
might not be that much worse.
If you can find a larger font to use, you should have used it for the
bingo. I swear they probably made half their profit on the trip from the
Bingo. I think it was $10 a card, 3 for $20, hundreds & hundreds of
people playing every night for maybe a couple of hundred bucks in
prizes. Totally outrageous.

When I go on a cruise I go for a vacation .I forget about gambling for
one reason the VP pay schedules are terrible, table games I have not
checked out, and I like the perks (comps ) in Las Vegas.I save my money
for other activities on the ship. A word of advice DO NOT PLAY BINGO you
might as well play the poor pay schedules of VP. Save your gambling
money for your favorite casino . Enjoy the cruise you can gamble
anytime. Richard from Ca.
