I don't post very often but I do lurk & learn from all of the posters.
Couldn't resist telling about our Bellagio VP experience yesterday. We
are local but were staying there on a comp arranged by our host. As
most of you know the "playable" VP is hard to find at the Bellagio. We
were losing at a fast rate and had moved to a bank of triple plays.
Wife is playing DB triple play 50 cent and suddenly announces that
after holding 3 Hearts to the Royal, a $2,000 Heart royal popped on the
middle line. She is super happy and waiting for the attendent. I
continue play on a $1.00 5 play DB and hold a single Q of hearts and up
comes a Heart Royal for $4,000. The attendent shows up and after lots
of congratulations and comments on a couple getting Heart royals
together, we collect the money and REALLY enjoy the rest of our stay.
I'm not a math or probability whiz but this must be considered rare or
maybe just wierd since it was in a .50/1.00 VP wasteland.
