Are they really changing pay schedules this fast, or are people not
checking machines carefully enough? In the past 4 weeks or so the 9/6
JorB machines near Circo have disappeared, reappeared, disappeared, and
as of yesterday apparently reappeared again. I know they were there 2
1/2 weeks ago because I threw a lot of money away on them.
Also, 2 1/2 weeks ago all of the single line $1 and up machines I
checked that had 9/6 JOB also had 9/7 DB. Have all of those disappeared
too?? I'd kind of like to know because I was thinking of trying to
master DB strategy before our next trip in July. If they're really gone
I'll save my few remaining brain cells for something else.

Probably a combination of the two.
Checking a casino for inventory changes isn't easy,
and missing a machine(s) or mistaking a paytable
happens often, even for experienced scouts.
An update that says "I checked all of the machines
listed in the DataBase for XYZ and couldn't find any
$1 9/6 JoB there or anywhere else in the casino"
inspires a lot more confidence than "I was at XYZ and
didn't see any 9/6 JoB".
In the past 4 weeks or so the 9/6 JorB machines near Circo have

There was another disappearing cycle that wasn't reported
because Ms. vpFREE was going to be in the vicinity and
we wanted to confirm before reporting another MIA.

Ms. vpFREE didn't check the 9/7 DB situation yesterday.

Also, my host confirmed the comp criteria at 10,000 points for
a room and 17,000 for RFL. 1 point equals $3 VP coin-in.
However my host did fully comp me RFL for my action of 13.5 points
per day, after the usual run-around give-and-take discussions.
